Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions
1. Security Deposit
A security deposit of 35,000 THB is required, Preferred method: credit card authorization.
Alternatively, a cash deposit of 35,000THB/1,000USD/1000EUR or a passport with a valid Thai visa is accepted.
In case of Authorization failure another Security deposit option is required
The deposit is fully refundable if all terms are met.
2. Insurance Options
Full Insurance (if purchased):
2.1 Covers damage to the vehicle and third-party injury or damage.
2.2 Deductible: 12,000 THB per party. 20,000THB for under age driver (23-25 years)
2.3 Total loss deductible: 60,000 THB.
2.4 Damages below the deductible will be charged at actual repair cost + 1000THB service fee.
2.5 Unauthorized repairs are not allowed.
2.6 A valid driving license is required (international or from home country is sufficient).
2.7 Loss-of-use charges are not covered.
Basic insurance (included):
2.8 The renter is responsible for all damage, including loss-of-use charges.
2.9 Repair costs will be based on a mechanic’s quotation plus a 1,000 THB service fee.
2.10 Unauthorized repairs are not allowed.
2.11 A valid International driving permit is required.
3. Driver Responsibility
3.1 Minimum driving age is 25 years for any insurance type. Age 23-25 must purchase under age insurance
3.2 Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and voids all insurance coverage.
3.3 Only drivers approved with the rental company may operate the vehicle.
3.4 All damage or accidents must be reported immediately, at the time and location of the incident. The driver is responsible for collecting full details of any involved parties, regardless of insurance type.
3.5 Sub-renting or transferring the vehicle to others is strictly forbidden.
3.6 The car is to be used in Koh Phangan only, it is strickly forbiden to Leave the island with the car.
3.7 It is not allowed to drive the car on the beach.
3.8 Off-road driving is not covered by any insurance, the driver is responsible for any related costs regardless to the insurance purchased.
4. Vehicle Care & Usage
4.1 The renter must check and maintain oil and water levels. Damage due to negligence will be
charged.
4.2 The renter is responsible for flat tires, broken glass, lost keys, or a drained battery.
4.3 Weekly inspections are required for rentals of one month or longer.
4.4 The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level. Missing fuel will be charged based on the company price list.
4.5 Excessive cleaning or interior/exterior damage (e.g., stains, rips, paint damage) will incur a 5,500THB charge.
5. Service Fees & Penalties
5.1 Late return: 300 THB per hour.
5.2 Delivery or return on the east side of the island (Haad Rin to Thong Nai Pan) or outside business hours (8:00AM-6:00PM): 800 THB.
5.3 Customer-responsible service requests (e.g. lost key, drained battery, flat tire): 1,000 THB.
5.4 Parking in public areas is limited to 48 hours. Contact the company if more time is needed.
5.5 Damage from natural disasters (flood, fire, theft) is not covered unless additional insurance is
purchased.
5.6 All prices are exclusive VAT (7%)
5.7 All credit card transactions require 5% card processing fee
5.8 Any violation of these terms may result in a 15,000 THB penalty
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 All payments are non-refundable.
6.2 For bookings of 7 days or more, cancellations/changes with at least 14 days’ notice may qualify for a credit toward a future booking (valid for 12 months based on rates and availability and ) or incur a 25% cancellation fee.
7. Company Rights
The company reserves the right to cancel a reservation or reclaim the vehicle at any time, with or
without explanation. If applicable, a refund will be provided.
8. Agreement
By signing, the renter agrees to all terms stated above and commits to treating the vehicle with care
and responsibility.
